What is the most neglected part of our body.teeth.We take care of our skin by going to beauty parlours and using the best products available in the market, we take care of our body by going to a gym.but what about the teeth?ORAL HYGEINE  is so important for our over all health.but we normally tend to get lazy and careles when it comes to oral care!Also we don't realise how a good clean set of teeth can add value to our face.they can be our asset, because when we smile.our whole face illuminates.Every part of our body demands our attention.and if they are not taken care of at the right time.we'll end up suffering.I for one was very careless towards my teeth and on top of it I have a massive sweet tooth, so that did not help either.hence I had to go through lots of problems and complications.There is not a single place where I have lived and not visited a DENTIST.so I know how much oral care is important and how much trouble you have to go through if you are careless towards your teeth.I do not know the technical stuff.but from my interactions with the doctors and my experience, this is all that I have learnt on ORAL CARE.


BRUSH YOUR TEETH TWICE IN A DAY.we all know this, but how many of us follow this regime?Its not only important to brush your teeth in the morning but also in the night before going to bed, so that we go to sleep with a clean mouth.there shouldn't be any food particle in the mouth, coz that will cause tooth decay.Also we should not brush our teeth for the sake of brushing.but give ample time, and see to it that the whole mouth is clean.


RINSE YOUR MOUTH AFTER EVERY MEAL.not only after having your food, but after having any thing which you feel can cause tooth decay, like say milk or anything sweet, coz they cause the maximum damage.Be very careful with sweets.


MASSAGE THE GUMS WITH YOUR HAND.after you have brushed your teeth and the mouth is clean.just massage your teeth with a gum massager which is available in the market.Massage your gum by rotating your fingers.give some 15 minutes to it.it'll not only remove all the dirt but also make your gums smooth and strong.


CHEW THE FOOD PROPERLY.whatever we are eating, fruits, vegetables or our normal food, we should chew our food properly.We should not be in a hurry to gulp the food.This will not only make out teeth stronger.but is good for our over all health.And mind you a large part of our health depends on how good is our  oral hygiene.


GARGLE.with either plain water(slightly warm)or if you have problem with the ouder, you can use a mouth freshner, and gargle 6-8 times.It will remove all the germs and dirt from your mouth.and keep it clean and more fresh.


AVOID TOO MUCH SWEET AND ALSO TOBACCO.as it causes severe damage to the teeth, esp tobacco which is not only injurious to your over all health, it also make your teeth look dirty.so avoid these things.Eat and take everything within a limit.


GO TO THE DENTIST FOR REGULAR CHECK-UP.this is the most important part.ITS VERY IMPORTANT TO VISIT YOUR DENTIST EVERY SIX MONTHS.They will not only have a look at the over all condition of your teeth but also advice you on what needs to be done with certain things, at the right time.So that you don't have to face problems later on.like I always use to fear going to my dentist, and hence my problem aggravated so much that I had to go through painful RCT to protect my teeth.So people don't be careless.go to your doctor at the right time.


THERE IS A WAY TO BRUSHING.which if you'll ask your dentist, he\she will tell you.He will tell you what kind of brush and tooth paste to use.And how you should brush your teeth.to ensure that they remain healthy.They will give you great advice, like my doctor did.Also make sure that you not only brush your teeth, but also keep your tongue clean.by using a tongue cleaner every day.it'll ensure your oral hygeine.


USE GOOD TOOTHPASTE.like neem or babul toothpaste, also you can use mustard oil and salt mixture for cleaning, after you have brushed your teeth.It'll bring a shine to your teeth.

Our oral hygeine depends on many factors.and from what all I have learnt from my painful experience, i know how important ORAL HYGEINE IS.and I do try to follow all that I have written above and I hope what I have written will be of some help to u too.take care of you teeth coz it also needs your attention.
