Layout: The printing layout of this
book is not so good. The printing is diminished and the quality of paper used
in printing is also not good but the
language of book is simple and understandable by everyone and the message which
autor wants to give to the people through this book is clear. My opinion: Religion is
always about LOVE and religion is ONE *"Ekas
Pita, Ek ke hum balak ", "Sub noor te ek jug upjhaya kaun bhalay ko
mande ".*.but as per Mr. Bhindrawale."Sikhi is different.we
are different from others. The attack on golden temple was done by army.the
attack and the biggest disrespect was when Bhindranwalan used it to his own
advantage. He seek shelter inside Akal Takht, on the advice of Mr. Tohra. Bhindranwala
was never a sikh.at the first place.he just used the word
"SIKH" to gain advantage and support.because we indians have this
knack of falling for our religion blindly.without even getting its
cognizance.
He took advantage of our faith, belief There is only one religion that is LOVE.
I have seen lot of speeches how he
spoke against people of other faiths.he forgot one thing.every human
being on this planet belongs to one God.whether you call him Guru Nanak,
Jesus Christ, Lord Ram or Prophet Mohammad, and almighty loves every human
being equally.there is no duality there.
Open your eyes to reality.these politicians just use incidents like these to
their own advantage.
We all are Indians.we are equal. the essence of "Guru Granth
Sahib". Don’t let your guru’s down and above all don’t poison your soul
The events of june 84 have always been shrouded in secrecy as the indian govt.
went to extraordinary lengths to restrict reportingThis book is written by the
General who was charged by the goverment to carry out the operation so I wasn't
excpecting anything other than the standard official line, I wasn't
dissapointed. The book is rammed with contradictions and more than often plain
untruths.I have followed the subject extensively since 1984 This book is an
attempt of a man trying to justify his actions and revising his place in
history, it is however in vain.
What author does not say but Oppression in
Punjab does: I attempt to reveal only a few things that author most
definitely does not include in his book. many people including those who were
actually inside Harimander Sahib and the Golden Temple complex during the
operation. You need to realize, these are the reporters; no one else was there
to witness it as reporters, media, EVEN THE RED CROSS was BANNED from
coming anywhere near Harimander Sahib. Well, the government did have MUCH to
hide. The entire attack was planned at least a year before; the gov’t had made
a replica of the Golden Temple complex where the army had "practiced."
He talks about the army not attacking Harimander Sahib, about
the soldiers respecting the holiest temple in Sikh
faith. According to the many witnesses AND bullet holes/other destruction
to the complex, the army did not warn those who were inside nor did they wait
a few days for the "terrorists" to start shooting; all witnesses
say that they army attacked on the very first day. did Furthermore, the army not
take off their shoes, nor does it attempt to avoid inflicting damage to
the Guru Granth Sahib; the GGS was found with bullet holes inside of it. There
is much more about the operation itself- I strongly encourage you to
read the book. I can only give so much information in a review. Read the
book for more truthful knowledge, witness accounts, and even post mortem
reports of those who had died during torture from police in the aftermath of
the operationno post mortem reports were given after the operation. Bodies
weren’t even given back to their families after the Indian army had attacked
their own people although bodies were returned to families after the
Jallian Wala Bagh massacre, which was committed by British soldiers
on IndiansSo much so that the government banned the book, arrested the team
members THE VERY DAY the report was released. Ever wonder why author’s own book
wasn’t banned? My point is don’t waste money on author’s junk that he calls the
untold story of Operation Blue Star. The real untold stories are in reports
like Oppression in Punjab, reports that were themselves suppressed.
