Opera Mini is a web browser. This is an application that we use to browse the internet. At first, it was designed only for mobile phone and smartphones. It is a project of Opera Web Browser. Opera web browser was released in 1996 and then, later on Opera mini began its journey in 2004 and later on in 2006 it was released worldwide. I must say that Opera mini does well than its predecessor Opera web browser. Opera web browser is not so popular yet among the computer or laptop users, but we can not think of the phones without Opera mini browser.
From version 4 Opera mini browser starts using Java ME platform which gives better browsing experience to the user. And from version 5 onwards Opera mini is available and compatible with most of the mobile operating systems like Android, Symbian, Windows, iOS etc.
If you have this browser installed in your phone and if you are using it, then when you are trying to browse something it sends data to it's own server, opera's server. This server processes data and compresses data before sending it to your mobile so it saves lot of data usage and as well as it also increases the speed of the data transfer.
So it is good intelligent and speedy browser for my phone and I just love it.
