This is further to my previous review on the corsa. It has done a 9 months with approximately 40 to 50 km per day. I have done some long trip too.
The pick up is very good and has been trouble free over this period.
The long trip experience is generally good - less tiresome compared to my
earlier vehicles.
The manueverability has become better than my first experience, probably due to my continuous usage.
The only negative point still is the mileage which is 10 km per litre with the normal fuel and around 10.5 km/l with the speed or premium petrol.
(There seems to be a better mileage of 11.5 to 12.5 km /l in the 1.4GLS version, for the same looks and probably with a reduced power.)
One more problem I noticed was the emission norms; though it has been rated Euro III it showed higher emissions of around 2.3 compared to max of 4. (Whereas I still remember my old Maruti giving a 0.8 even after a 5 year running). I had to take it to the dealer and he has adjusted the idling rpm (- through a special equipment which controls the engine CPU). I am yet to retest the levels. (_Hoped it would have come down based on the assurances of the dealer).
