Ooty botanical garden is located in vannarapettai has so many attractions. it has so mnay plant species like ferns, shurbs, trees, herbal and bonsai plants.
there is tree which is assumed to be 20 billions years old and is fossilized.
It has so many lawns, ponds, flower beds and gardens, which re divided into six sections namely new garden, italian garden, nursery, lower garden, flower bed garden and fountain terrace.
New garden has so many rose hybrids and lawns. And it also has pond with aquatic plants. They have aboretum which means so may trees and woody species are there.
Besides all this they have a Flower show which is conducted every year for two days. Exhibition of variety of flowers and plants is there, in which prizes are als distributed.
This botanical garden als has a hill called toda mund.
Timings are from morning 7 to evening 6 and ticket price are rs15 for childrrn and rs30 for adults.
Buses and cabs are accessible.
