Shopping on the net.... Review on Online Shopping Experience

Shopping on the net, WoW whatta a WONDERFOOL Idea. Guess what? We viewers see the goody gaudy products, tempted by the fresh colours, style, trends, etc..

Thinking the idea of actually receiving the product, sitting at home, would be really great. we log into some good old site. get across some, really happening products. we select our choices, we are even ready to bear all the if's & but's during the process of selecting & listing our requirements. we afford to fill & go through all the formalities suggested by the Net shoppy's. we are even ready to do the payment in advance, by Visa, draft or Cash after the good is delivered to our doors. Just imagine the unseen pain in the neck, that has yet to arrive. Only after you receive you Parcel. Ha! I thought of shopping once, I ordered a Manicure Set worth Rs. 125/- only,( + 10 Rs. charged for shipping & delivery etc.) from Rediff Shopping, thinking lets start with a low value item, for a try. I did all the formalities as per the requirements. I received my product code no., via mail, stating I shall receive it by 1 weeks time. I received it in 1 weeks time, seeing the parcel with a kit containing 15 items, neatly packed in a see through cover, I felt happy. I made the cash payment, immediately. But the real story starts, when I opened the pack. All the items, as shown in the Shopping spree list was found to be same. But the quality of the product, did not exist according to the display. All the items were found to be in plastics & semi metals, & really not upto the mark, not very durable by nature, can be used hardly two or three times. So folks Dikhave pe na jao, Rather think twice before you place order for some WONDERFOOL Product from the NET SHOPS, & make a fool out of yourself.

My second experience was Femina Magazine Magazine Yearly issued. I have already made the payments via Visa, received the product & order code number immediately. I placed a order thinking, I cannot be cheated this time, becoz magazines are books, & we don't have to scrutinize much about this product, I have place the order in July. & still patiently & eagerly waiting for the magazine to arrive, Infact I also send a reminder to the times group, & I got the feedback stating ...

'' This is in response to your inquiry regarding the order delivery. Please be informed that your order will be shipped after 4-6 weeks, after the order processing date. Please be informed that your order has been gone for processing as of July 23 2003. Please note that the magazine subscription takes 4-6 weeks normally to be delivered.'' Now I wonder when I shall receive my issue, & especially of which month. And now I'am in a dilemma, should I make a stop payment or await for my September, October issues.

I just wanted my MouthShut Family to be aware of this easy shopping. Or is it that only I had a bad experience net shopping, Please revert with your experiences folks, so that it could be a lesson or a help to many other viewers, readers & buyers. So that nobody could be mislead again. HAPPY NET SHOPPING....Chao.
