I purchased a Beetel Cordless phone at a discount of more than Rs 1000 than the showroom price and was quite happy about that although it came after 2 months of my placing the order..It conked off after 4 months.when I went to the service people that I realised there was no warranty card..moreover I was pointed out that the product was manufactured in 2007 and had been sold to me in 2009.
Even the factory warranty of 18 months from date of production was over. You will find a sweet mouthed guy called Rohit in its customer care number who hands out promises en masse..In my case he even wept for having forgotten to despatch my order..So please be sure what you are buying...especially electronics..
