When my earlier microwave oven stopped working and the service person quoted me a high price for its repair. I decided to look out for a replacement. I realized that the earlier one had a grill but I had used it only once. I decided to go for a basic model. I then noticed that the models used in my office cafeteria was the Onida Power Solo 20.
It was being subjected to such rough handling and was having repeated usage all day long. Knowing that I would use it only a few times a day, I narrowed down to this model. I spoke to the Facilities guy in my office and found out that they rarely had any issues with the model. He also said that it is so cheap, that it is really value for money. I then did some hunting in the shops and saw some unbranded/Chinese models too. I then got a deal for Rs. 3000/-, which also included a set of microwave safe containers from ADISHWARs in Bangalore. Now the product retails for about Rs.4300/-. It has been used for over 2 years without any issues.
Definite buy!
