Complete oven one can afford. Review on Onida 25CTS22

If one is looking for a Microwave + Grilling + Convection (Baking) with lots of features oven at an affordable price then I recommend to go for Onida 25CTS22. I have bought it 8 months ago and I have been expecting some kind of fault in this jack of all trader, but my expectations went wrong. When I began to get used to all its functionality in detail unlike other microwave ovens with less functionality now I admire it and proud to say to the people which criticize me when I bought this Onida product.

When I decide to buy an oven I began to study about all the working procedure of a microwave oven. Right from magnetron that emits High frequency short range microwave waves which cooks food to overall construction and construction cost of an oven. At the end I found there is nothing complex in working procedure of a oven so the price what we are paying for is somewhat higher. High branded companies like Samsung, Lg prices are too high. So I began to focus on low budget but complete Microwave oven. At the end came some collection of companies.

Again filtered the company’s presence in India Again focused on after sale service and spare parts availability at the end came Kenstar and Onida. I took some three trips to the show room and I found Onida because of its service centers all over India that Kenstar lacks. Now came Onida 25CTS22 model, which has all the options like Microwave cooking, Grilling option that fries Veg and non-Veg recipes, Convection cooking for Baking of cakes, Biscuits etc… The menu is somewhat easy with express cook option for 7 recipes.

Microwave Temperature setting, Grilling, Convection, Microwave+Grilling or Micro+Convection, Defrosting option of frozen foods all are given as one touch keypad option. 24 hours Clock setting with Alarm to remind a particular cooking operation, Pause/reset option are provided. Now comes the Jog dial option that is easy to set unlike mechanical rotary switch or key touch switch. Jog dial also works as the Setting for weight of food we are about to cook.

By setting Weight the oven automatically sets the cooking time for a particular food. All the above came for me at a Price of Rs 8, 500/- (Tamilnadu festive offer) with additional set a Microwave Cookery set and a Very good Recipe Book and Microwave Glass bowl with beautiful thermos container. The product has One-year warranty, but now other companies provide two years warranty while their product price seems to be high.
