This guy from ONG BAK, may not belong to the typical hero category, but the stunts he has performed are mind blowing. Boss the wheel cart stunt when he is running away from the gangsters and immediately following that the jump from inside a small circle of pricky wire fence he has taken by curling himself, is superlative. The action scenes are really good and one can actually take some lessons from it. Most of all the 'grit' & 'never give up spirit' the guy has shown while performing fight scenes is good.
The rick case scene is also fantastic and its really nice to see some fast moving vehicles, skidding, jumping, flying all over the places from the bridge etc. A small taste of comedy here and there makes it a worth watch film.
The girl (heroine if you may call) is not needed at all. This guy alone with the gangsters are worth what you pay (if you pay at all ;-)).
All fight scenes inside the ring are typical muay thai fights & can actually be used in fights if any body is a martial artist like I am. All these fights are real no strings attached. one on one. If anybody is a martial artist in the weapons category, even then its a good watch.
