Using OnePlus 2 for the last 2 months. It is certainly not the flagship killer of 2016 and even 2015 but you will get something more what are you paying.

It runs on custom Oxygen OS UI on top of Android Lollypop 5.1.1.

Let's breakdown it in my liking(Pros) and disliking(Cons):-

Reasons to buy(Pro)

  1. Very well build:- Very solid metal rim around the device. It provides more durability. the back is sandstone and will provide you a very good grip.

  2. Excellent hardware: -It comes along with 4 GB of RAM with Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core  CPU. This provides good multitasking experience and good for gaming.

  3. Fingerprint Scanner:- this device comes along with a fingerprint scanner which works well after OTA update.

  4. Good Camera:- Maybe the camera isn't the best but it is one of good camera phones present in the market and day by day OnePlus making it better with software OTA updates.

It takes some nice shots. HDR mode and Manual mode does a pretty good job.

OTA updates fixed the stabilization issues with 4K recording.

5.  Notification toggle button:- This device comes with an unique notification toggle button, by which you can change the notification to Loud, Silent and Priority. this you won't find on other devices.

  1. Screen Quality:- This phone has 1080p, IPS LPCD screen which is very sharp indeed. Everything looks so crystal clear and viewing angles are very good.

  2. Oxygen OS and OTA updates: - The first version Oxygen OS was quite buggy and annoying but Oneplus has made a great job. They provide OTA updates regularly which has fixed most of the bugs and enhanced the camera experience with manual controls as well.

  3. Dual SIM 4G LTE support on a flagship phone.

Now let's discuss Disliking(Cons):

  1. As it is a flagship phone it could have been a 1440p(2k) screen instead of Full HD(1080p).

  2. No NFC, No Wireless charging, No Fast-charging support( Though it charges up quite fast).

  3. Video recording is not that sharp and clear.

  4. Still minor bugs on Oxygen OS.

Conclusions:-

Though it has some Cons, but still it provides tons of feature which you won't find on Stock Android. It has excellent hardware and good camera . Everyone should go for 64 GB variant and they should get 52 GB user available space.

The phone feels rock solid in hand. I've dropped it quite often and the phone is still intact though the surrounding metal got a little tampered.

I will give it 5 star and I love Oneplus 2 and for their support.

They gives OTA updates and will make your device more functional
