Story:

It was unfortunate that I picked up this book after reading the Lord of the Rings. Going by the reputation of the Author, I shouldn't have picked this book, however, my second chance has not been worth it. I wonder if I will read any more of his books.

Language

The language used in the book is usually ordinary, sometimes downright cheap. IT buzzwords are thrown in for people to emphathise with the story, however, one ends up relating to the words than the story itself. The language seems appropriate for childrens' books, though the story does not seem to fit children.

Flow

The story lacks flow absolutely. Events that don't mix together are stitched together. One positive aspect about the flow is that the Author introduces a heading where the viewpoint is completely different. But this is no big deal.

After reading the book, you end up with questions like: How did that happen ? How did event X relate to result Y ?

It seems that the author is not clear about the base material, and, he has unwittingly tried to put together a series of un-correlated thoughts.

Story

Now now, we believe in fairy tales, we believe in real world stories; but a mixture of both ? One wonders if the book is a fairy tale (not real) or a real world one! Is this story about the love life of some guy, or is it about determinism and courage, or is it a collection of office gossips ? Confusing.

Very emotional parts of the story that needed special attention and probing are left shallow. Nobody wraps up a very emotional conversation in 1 sentence. Atleast not in a minute! And when one is taken through such things in the book, one begins to wonder if these are actually real or whether it is an attempt to convey "things that sell" to the readers, but with the wrapping of a story book.

Verdict

Read this book if you're the kind that gets kick from poor quality porn, or have nothing better to do. Don't expect anything more than sequences that give you a kick. My advice: You'd find better sequences in the Something Awful Forums.
