Hi Chetan,
It takes me great pleasure to once again write a review for ur second book '' One night @ call centre''
Being a lecturer I could immediately identify todays youth with the characters..!
I find a.... shyam. a.... Vroom in every student..!
There is a hidden Radhika, a rebel Priyanka in most of the kids that I see in the campus.
The race to have a glamourous lifestlye, Mall culture, Multiplex movies have mesmerised the youth.
Iam sure most of those who read the book can identify themselves with it...!!
And readers....Plz...plzzz....stop comparing this book with ' Five Point Someone'...thats the greatest dishonour you can do to a writer....!!
I was touched by the dialogue where Priyanka says that when we are hungry, we say we need food....so why cant we say that we need to be loved when it is the most basic need...!!! TRULY ORIGINAL......Chetan.........!!! HATS OFF.....!!! for once I wanted to be in Priyankas shoes...just to be able to say that dialogue.....!!! AWESOME.........!!
Ofcourse....I wanted to ask...who is the lady you met in the train...?? was it Maa Durga...? I felt so.
Keep up the good work....!!!
Iam so proud that Indian contemporary literature is growing..thanks to the new breed authors like you...!!
warm regards,
Abhilasha.
P.S convey my Hi to Hari....Alok and Ryan...!!.:-)) Love to Neha.............and the twins.:-))
