Wonder what ol' man Chetan was thinking when he decided to write about One Night at the Call Center. It begins realistically though and the first fre chapters are actually quite good in terms of the racy content and the connection with the characters, but midway it loses track of the plot, tries to delve deep into the mush of human relations and comes a cropper
.
The plot meanders and you need all your wits to hang on through the seperate flashback chapters of the protagonist's love affair with the female lead which frankly could be deleted without affecting the story. The hatred of the 'goras' is immature xenophobia even as it is delivered through an otherwise mature character and the climax is mind bogglingly illogical.
In a funny story maybe it wouldn't have mattered, but in an otherwise serious tale, its quite annoying. Could have been better
