Every once in a while I like to test myself on the bravometer.

I watch horror movies all by myself in a dark room…. I add further challenge to it by buying a bad print which casts more shadows than necessary!

"One missed call” was my recent most test

.....And I am proud to say I failed.

Mr. Director, there is absolutely no need to petrify me this good!!!

Story:-

Beth sees a series of her friends die!

All of them have one thing in common they receive an eerie missed call;

Any of who have this eerie ring tone; I strongly insist that you delete my number from your phone book right  now !!!! + !!!!

The eerie missed call leaves behind a message. The call plots the date and time of the receiver’s death. The message captures the last utterances of the ones to die.

Everyone disbelieves Beth, except Detective Jack, whose sister is also one of the “missed call” victims.

Between Beth and Jack they try to solve the ungodly mystery and as they get close to it, Beth receives the dreaded “missed call”.

Mr. Director, while I understand that you have the cinematic license to stretch every thing as unrealistically as you wish…..

….. Even in “my scared out of wits” self, I don’t understand how Beth’s abusive childhood is relevant.

All the weak hearted I suggest you stop reading now and check other websites where the movie has been thrashed!

Beth and Jack trace the calls back to the origin and find themselves standing in front of pretty, little girl.

The little girl has an asthmatic sister and is supposedly physically abused by her mother.

She is constantly taken to the hospital for the treatment of various lacerations and body wounds.

During one such medication, she is admitted in the hospital.

....The hospital burns down in a fire.

The little girl is rescued; however there is no trace of the mother.

Beth and Jack finally unravel that, the mother’s body was never retrieved from the hospital and the spirit of the sick lady was transferring itself from one call to another.

Killing everyone who receives the “missed call”

Did I hear a disbeliever’s laugh??

Excuse me, I politely beg to differ!

Have you seen the chain mail which says: - This is the good luck Buddha from the frontiers of Ethiopia. Forward this to 240 people right now and you will receive a call from Brad Pitt, and a designer dress from Dolce and Gabbana.

Moron, IF you delete this mail, your house will be invaded by the centipedes of Northern Mexico. And you will sprout a huge ugly pimple on your nose.

(And before an ant can bat an eyelid, we forward the mail to 240 people)

If good luck Buddha can travel via e-mail, evil spirits are also allowed to jump from cell phone to cell phone.

So there!

Beth and Jack arrive at the hospital to liberate the Mother’s body.

A few teeth chattering and stomach curdling scenes later, Beth discovers the hideous skeleton of the mother clutching onto a cell phone.

Brave Beth grabs the cell phone and destroys it.

The hideous skeleton wakes up and pounces onto to Beth.

Hideous skeleton also gives my goose bumps a few goose bumps!

However the Mother does not kill Beth, rather she appears to protect her from something else.

Beth and Jack though baffled are happy that they overcame the said “dead”-line for Beth and return home.

Is Beth really safe?

Do the eerie phone calls stop?

Brrrrr………!

And all you Sniggering, Doubting Thomas-es who pretend that the movie did not scare you;

we have clicked a photograph of you…..

Your hair is standing at 90 degrees from your scalp!!
