The author of many other impressive books like Heart to Heart, Tales from Modern India etc.wrote a nice book however marketing strategy went wrong and I see many people not having positive opinions about the book.
This book is worth reading if you do not expect sensational political controversy.
This book has a lot to offer, much more than Volcker controversy.
If any one has read writings by Rajiv Gandhi, it will give you the same flare.(Writings of Indira Gandhi does not belong to this team).The book has skipped some very personal and significant issues like death of her daughter in law, but has in depth coverage of south block life and activities.
Read without being prejudiced, happy reading.
