Story:

A superb autobiography which gives us lot of insights of our country External Affairs Policy, also gives us insight on Bureaucracy, behind the curtain dramas on Politics. In fact the book gives us a picture about Nehru- Indira- Rajiv and Manmohan style of leading the Governments and their ability to develop the relations with other countries. It also makes us to think why India has lacked to become a super power due to its poor Foreign Policies.

This book really change perspective about Mr.Natwar Singh, he has written the book with honesty and not for mere public stunt. He has also thrown some light on the control of Sonia over Manmohan Govt and over the congress party and also gives the reader to know about her dictatorship, immature, arrogance attitude. The book also gives us lot of insights on some major events like Operation Blue Star, Indira & Rajiv Gandhi Assassinations, Indo-Sino Relation, India-Pak relations(especially with of General Zia), Srilankan Tragedy etc.

The writing Style of author is very good. I feel this book must be an asset, for those who born in between 60s and 70s as it is a warm recollection of many events passed thru the country at that period and for younger generations an Insight of what is Indian Politics and Indian Bureaucracy.
