The Title: One Hour Photo

The Director: Mark Romanek

Released in: 2002 by Fox Films

Rated R

It will take you about 95 mins to watch it.

.:The Stars:.

Robin Williams, plays Sly Parrish.

Gary Coleman, plays his Boss, Bill Owens.

Connie Nielsen, plays Nina Yorkin.

Michael Vartan, plays Nina's husband, Will.

Dyland Smith, plays Jake, is Nina and Michael's son.

This film is out on Video but I saw it in the theatre.

.:My Review:.

The story begins at the end with Sly Parrish, being booked into jail, for the crimes we don't know about, yet.

Sly is an expert in photography, and he has worked in a shop, for ten years, that is owned by Bill Owens.

Sly's job it to get the film, from their clients, and to process it.

The Yorkin Family have been coming to the Photo Shop for years. The family doesn't know that Sly has become obsessed with them, and has made some of their pictures for him self.

Mr. Yorken, brings in a roll of film, and Sly finds out that Will Yorken has been having an affair. Sly puts these pictures into the next batch of film he has developed for the family.

One day, Bill Owens, founds out that a few of his customers are missing some of their pictures. He thinks that Sly has stolen them, and he fires him.

There are no perfect families, and there are no perfect people. No one dies, but many peoples lives are ruined.

To find out what happens next you'll have to see this movie.

.:My Thoughts:.

This film is a chilling and haunting movie. It will take you a long time to forget the it. Ever since I've seen it, and take a roll of film in to developed, I wonder who is lurking in the developing room!

I thought all of the actors played their parts well. It was hard to believe that Mark Romanek, could play such an evil man, and that is what makes this movie worth seeing.

The film's score was went well with what was happening on the screen. There were no special effects.

The cinematography was wonderful because of the use of the use of stark colours,(greens, yellows, and reds).

I didn't like the scenes that seemed to be suspended and there was no reality.

Romanek's directing reminded me of the old movies that Alfred Hitchcock use to make.

.:My Conclusion:.

This was a very good movie, but not the best I've seen. It is good enough to rent, so if you haven't seen it yet I think you will enjoy it.
