Its on the river of narmada. I had visited janapav kuti then I want to go to patal pani. But its hard to get transportation to reach there. So I decided to go to maheshwar which is also on the river of narmada. from there I wanted to go to Omkareshwar. but local buses are slow. and I need to change buses and auto to reach nearest destination to get final auto to reach Omkareshwar. but it was too late and one magic auto suggest me to come in the morning because it take 4 hours to reach from Indore to Omkareshwar and same hours to go back. means you need whole day. so I went back and get bus in the next morning. so after lots of struggle finally I reached to the place. it's really beautiful place and ghat is dirty but you can enjoy swimming in river. you can enjoy boating. I did it too. its cheap and affordable. it costs me 100 rupees.
I would strongly suggest you to go and have fun there.
