If there was ever an award given to bus operators who can irritate their passengers the most, Omer travels would win that award without any sweat. Not once or twice, but anytime I chose Omer travels bus, I regretted my decision.
The last time we tried Omer travels, the bus did not come to the bus stop(Bandra East - ONGC Bus stop). The reporting time was 9 pm and the departure time was 9:15 pm, as per the ticket. We receive a called at 8:55pm from the coordinator who told us to go to Sion Circle. Cussing ourselves for booking ticket on this pathetic operator, we went to Sion and had a hard time finding the exact bus stop as we were new to Mumbai.
In the bus, my fiance did not get a ladies seat, even though the ticket was bought for a ladies seat. Even the water bottle that was supposed to be given free to passengers(as per redbus - Phanindra, are you listening?) was sold on the bus for an extra amount on the MRP.
My dear friends, such service cannot go on - at least in the interest of frequent bus travellers like us. Service of bus operators like Dhanunjaya and Kaleshwari put Omer Travels to shame. It is high time Omer Travels stops its services, streamlines its service delivery systems, sensitize its staff by providing training them in basic manners, report accurate bus stops, provide appropriate seats for ladies, old people and disabled persons.
Even if one passenger does not buy a ticket on Omer Travels bus after reading this review, I'd think that the review has served its purpose.
