Omegle.com is not a social network and not a part of social media, it is a platform where you are connected to randomly picked strangers who are also using Omegle.com, you can connect with strangers either by chat or video chat.

What are its disadvantages?

CyberBullying: Cyberbullying is a form of bullying by using electronic forms of contact, it is very common between teenagers now a days. And platforms like Omegle.com can be most prone to these type of things, as there is no record or identity of the person who is using the site. As the person can be connected with a person using inappropriate  language or bullying with other sorts of method. Cyberbullying can lead a person to low self-esteem and can even lead to suicidal thoughts.

Addiction: As every single person have different thoughts and this site is popular among teenagers so many of them can find it interesting, in turn they spend their time on the site, later on which can lead to addiction and such addiction are not at all good to anybody's  mental health.

Personal Information: Many times when people get carried away with the conversation, unknowingly they sometimes share their personal information like - email, phone number, address etc. which can be misused by the stranger which will directly of indirectly harm you.
