Flew Oman Air, from Cairo to Muscat return and those
trips where the trips from hell.
First Flight. Our flight was delayed because one first class passenger was
lost somewhere in duty free, neither did the cabin or ground crew care about
the fact that hours and hours where passing as we waited for this one
passenger. I also noticed that not once did they call the passenger on the
speakers. Eventually after eight hours the captain decided that they would
leave the passenger behind! We finally entered the aircraft and I wasn’t to
worried as the aircraft seemed nice from the outside, but my mind soon changed
as I stepped foot into the aircraft, as I watching the cabin crew rushing around still
cleaning the cabin and picking pillows and blankets from the last flight. We
took off and the cabin slowly became very cold when I asked the cabin crew lady
for a blanket she said there was only 10 remaining and that they only for first
class passengers, so as I sit there freezing with no in-flight entertainment I
wait for the only thing left the meal. Which wasn’t a meal after all we had a
choice of a sandwich or a small plate of rice for this flight. With both portions
about the size of a fist, making me cold, hungry and bored after the flight.
Second Flight. I wasn’t looking forward to this flight at all and was just
hoping to arrive safely after about a hour delay they announced the flight had
been cancelled due to mechanical problems. I was then compensated with tickets
on Gulf Air, however this was an extremely extremely horrible experience, with a shocking airline.
A MAJOR POINT- I would to have given Oman Air, NO STARS however I cannot due to the website not allowing it.
