This is exactly now happening in our time here. Undeserving things are getting more accolades and demand and deservers loose. **OSO is undesputedly a hit of this year, earning huge money in it's first week itself with 7 days already houseful in advance booking! With great hopes you watch this movie and thereafter carry headache for three consecutive days with hurling all possible good words for Farah Khan and team. Height is that now our so great media is projecting her the numero uno director.my foot. The only saving grace in OSO was SRK just SRK and nothing else, even he was subjected to pathetic direction and irritating performance by the great Farah Khan.
Bundle and borrowed: Farah Khan tried to be oversmart taking public as fools. No doubt there are lots of us fools that is why such movies become hit even after being amogn the worst movies of the year. Same hero makes a fantastic movie like Chak De but looks like a mentally imbalanced person in OSO in everway even for his decision to work in such movies.
This movie is plainly copied from Karz and is absolutley pathetic remake of Karz, an excellent movie in every term. OSO of complete 2:30 min can even compete with the casting tailor of Karz. Entire story was written, directed and played brilliantly. Every star in that movie was magnificent in acting department and here over the board overacting from each and every one inclduing SRK, who already famous for this.but ehre not only he but all crossed the limits of worst acting.
OSO is a story of reincarnation of two died souls of film industry killed by Arjun Rampal. Fun is that besides reincarnation the Atma of Deepika Padukone manages to do reincarnation as well as appear as ghost and same time.means double profit and together these three finally take revenge.
The first half of the movie is somehow manageable to jhel but second hour is hardcore pagalkhana with highly third rate end.
It's was looking that Farah Khan thought so poorly and dumbly about the public and on the name of Manmohan Desai brand brainless entertainment she fooled us pathetically. No connection between frames, every shot looked forcing and loud. Kiron Kher was irritating.and after seeing these stars you just think that if these are called actors then God save this industry. And to blame the most it is Farah Khan.
Direction, editing, music all are substandard: Compare it with Karz. Even today they rock. And pathetically Vishal Shekhar tried to even copy it's songs.which look more like forced for popularity. I don't know what is especial in dard-e-disco except irritating that it IBN7 even dedicatd a time for past one month for some dard-e-disco competition! Media management and propaganda of hype to make the movie hit. This is the only USP of OSO. Farah Khan should be infact thrown out of industry for making an art degradative and thinking so low about people. She has no capacity as a director.
The special effect only of this movie looked good.
Final verdict: Even hardocre fans of SRK would not appreciate thsi movie till they are really maniacs or something else. But nothing to blame to SRK here but to Farah Khan who made a truly third rate c grade movie from start to end with such A grade star cast. Deepika Padukone will look OK and Kirorn Kher irritating. Shryas talpade even in his old days does not forget his dynamic jawani days and delivers dialogues and expression like 23 year old youth even after becoming 50 years old guy.what an acting and direction. farh Khan and OSO need just boot and booted out. It's among worst movie I ahve ever seen with really no entertainment of so called Manmohan Desai brand. yes I learnt one thign that "If media mehrbaan to gadha Pehelwaan!". How can TOI give it 3and half stars and Goal just 2 stars! It clearly shows these reviewers are sold out and nothing but moutpiece of those who bribe them or please them.
Just watch jub we met or Goal they are much much better and really good.
