Opening of OSO was one of the highlights of the film, om shanti om song playing from the karz film with srk present in the infectious environment immediately set the mood for the film.
Seventies era was recreated with some gorgeous sets in the first half.It is understandable that the picturisation should revolve around sets only bollywood being the theme… nevertheless they should have shown some localities of erstwhile Bombay.
The visual effects were superb.specially in dhoom tana song and also when the fire catches accidentally in the sets of a film.
While the first half have been romantic and comical, It is the 2nd half, when the real action starts as revenge drama begins. Om himself is a superstar now.
Deewangi song picturisation was a treat to watch.I wished it would never end.
The climax was quite unexpected and well directed.
SRK as a junior artist was a treat to watch during the first half. SRK again as spoilt brat of a superstar portrayed the character beautifully in the 2nd half.
Shreyas was just fantastic as “ pappu master” in the film.
The chemistry between SRK and him was superb.
Kiran kher as usual was excellent as mother of om, a junior artist…she herself is also a junior artist in the film.
Deepika is sure to get many best debut awards this year…her charm, dialogue delivery, dancing skills are mind blowing apart from her looks. Her romance with superstar srk was quite mature.
Arjun rampal as bad man did put up a kickass performance.
Kudos to Farha & SRK for taking up an unusual theme."the bollywood" and still land in a win-win situation.
