On 10 Mar, 2013, I took the 4:30 PM service (departure postponed to 5:00 PM) from Bangalore to Chennai. Coach number OL103. Shortly after leaving the office in Koramangala, some problems with the bus surfaced. At 9:30 PM we reached the toll gate leading to Vellore, at which point the bus broken down.
The company failed to make alternative arrangements. At 11:00 PM the Manager in charge switched off his phone. At 11:30 PM four of us hailed a cab and continued to Chennai.
We contacted the Bangalore office and the company refuses to refund the money paid. The money paid for this journey was INR 2, 800, a substantial premium over their normal fares.The company obviously has blatant disregard for the users of its service.
