I had bought return tickets (Booking ID: 00OQM8) for my parents for Bangalore- Pondicherry for May 4th and return on May 6th, 2012. A day before the journey from Bangalore, the bus operator called and said that the bus will go for maintenance and the tickets will have to be cancelled. Forget the fact that I had to organize alternate arrangements at the last moment.
But as of now (June 1st week, 2012) they have not refunded the amount which is Rs 7200 for 2 passengers return tickets. Since last few weeks, numerous calls, emails to follow-up, but nothing happens. All they have done is a couple of email replies that they have escalated to accounts, senior management etc, but still the refund has not been processed.
I am now contemplating moving this to consumer courts for harrassment and fraud. An advice to all - stay away from Olivea and harrasment, pathetic customer service.
