Olay i hate you. Review on Olay Total Effects

So this is the story.

I have a lot of blemishes on my face and the periodical attack of pimples once in a month.So I have always used Neutrogena Acne wash which has succesfully eliminated the pimple problem.But what about my blemishes.I have tried everything from Fair and Lovely to No marks to Lo Oreal.So once I go to Carrefour to get this LoOreal White Perfect which is all over my mind.It was as if I was hypnotised as I walked down the isle to get that little bottle of magic that could give me picture perfect skinwith no blemishes.Thats when it happened

.Out of no where this sales woman turned up with a little bottle in her hand that said Olay.I stared at her and then at the the little black contraption in her hand.As usual she started with a bright smile .

"Madam, Do you want to get rid of the blemishes?Then this is the product for you.You have just pimple marks that will leave within a few weeks."

I opened my mouth and shut it again and silently listened to her going on about Olay's Total Effects.

So when she is done talking, i see myself holding a total effects serum and a moisturiser.I dont know hoe they do that.Guess thats what they are paid for.But this kind of situtaions really makes me feel awkward because I am awful in saying a no.So mostly I end up taking the product from the sales person and ditching it somewhere in a different isle.But this time I did it just before her.My husband noticed that she was handing out samples of moisturisers but had skipped me even when I took the product.So he got angry.

But that was not what I really cared about.First of all I didnt trust the brand Olay.Then the bottle says antiageing serum.I am not that old.I am not even 25, then why me?Why just me.So I just walked up to her dumped the product, snatched a Looreal from the shelf and walked away.While I was walking, i heard her shout "Oh!Iknow you will come back for this believe me.".I think it echoed.Of course I didnt dream about it everyday.

So I used this White perfect for weeks.I should say that it was a total waste for my money.So I started my search for a new product.Thats when the sales girl's shout came back to me.I googled it."Total effects review"and I got a lot.Well as I was saying I didnt care what wonders it could do for ageing skin;i wnated to see what it could do for my blemished skin and hence the only thing I cared about were the reviews from the younger customers.And guess what almost all of them said they had a visible change as far as blemishes were concerned.So I decided to take a risk and buy it.So I just bought a bottle of olay serum and the total effects face wash.

SOi I told you about the wonderful little bottle of this magic portion(or so I thought)i bought from carrefour.I just loved how those girls of 20s and 21s testified for this product.Anyway I used it along with thefacewash.I was using neutrogena acne wash and I skip that for getting the ultra clear skin that olay promised me.So I apply the serum twice and I waited.Well, I had a change in the uneven tone.The serum surely made my marks fade in the first four or five days.Then it came.My face suddenly broke out.All pimples and acne.I am going crazy right now.Two years back I had this problem with acne which was like mud thrown on my face.It went away as I allied with neutrogena but it has come back.It took so long last time to get cleared up.I didnt have even one pimple.So girls if you really want to use Olay make sure that you dont have the oily skin otherwise you are going to regret it.hmmm.Anyway for me I am dumping Olay and back to my neutrogena.
