This is good stuff. Review on Olay Foaming Face Wash

Oil of Olay® is a product that a lot of women and some men as well use in their daily lives. Whether to clean there faces or use on the entire body. I have trusted Oil of Olay® like so many people have for years.

I like to use products that do not leave my face greasy or dry, I have a lot of that stuff on my on and need no help containing the greasy and dry areas.

My forehead is greasy as well as my chin area and the nose and cheeks are dry areas. We all seem to have some type of combination skin and we all have to find a product that will work for us. Our taste is different and there are things to consider in buying products like price, name of product and will it work? For me the Oil of Olay® Foaming Face Wash does work.

I have used and trusted this product for over 5 years. And I use it every day. Sometimes twice a day! I like the way it makes my face feel and I like the fact that it actually works in removing all war paint, including the mascara from my face.

The Product

Oil of Olay® Foaming Face Wash deep cleans with no over drying soap and is oil free. (100% soap and oil free and has been dermatologist tested.) It will clean thoroughly and remove dirt, oil and make up without the over drying that some products will do. And sometimes those other products will leave a greasy feeling or a very dry feeling. And most people do not like either one of those things I know I don’t.

Oil of Olay® Foaming Face Wash refreshes because it contains oil free moisturizers and helps your skin retain its own natural moisture and leaves my face really soft.

Now I have to tell you here that when I go fishing I will sometimes get really dirty, fishing can have that effect on people, and when the wind blows up a lot of dirt it seems to find its way to my face. Even mowing the grass will attract all the dirt in my yard right to my face. I cannot stand that feeling on my face. You know the one, grimy, gritty, DIRT! I will use this product right away after returning into my home to get all that mess off my face.

Directions

Wet hands and face. Pump into had a small amount of the facial wash. Splash with water, work into lather and massage on skin. Rinse off with warm water.

Also, I use a washcloth, actually more than my hands as instructed above. The facial wash lathers really well on the washcloth and cleans better I think. I always use soft washcloths though. Sometimes I will use cotton balls to remove my war paint and mascara.

I have found that the Oil of Olay® Foaming Face Wash works really well on removing mascara. But you have to keep in mind that mascara can darken your washcloth and you should take your soap immediately and clean the washcloth to remove all make up from it. Sometimes I forget to do this, and needless to say I have a couple of washcloths that have black stains on them, so I use those washcloths all the time in cleaning my face. This is also my own fault, because I forgot to clean the washcloth in the first place. This is the reason I try to use cotton balls in removing my mascara.

I only use a very small amount of the facial wash that is all it takes. And I can make the 6.78 fl oz bottle last for up to six months. Maybe the size of a dime if that much!

Container and Ingredients

The container is a white plastic bottle with a black pump and black writing. The size is 6.78 fl oz. (299 ml) and it has the Oil of Olay® lady on the front which is their trademark!

Cost

At my local Wal-Mart I pay $3.88 each time I need to restock. At the local Winn Dixie it will cost me $3.99. At local drug stores such as Walgreen or Eckerd’s you will pay slightly more. Sometimes there will be coupons or sales so check around. But $3.88 is not bad at all for a product that will last me up to 6 months!

How I feel about the product

I trust it! That’s for sure. Like I said above I have used Oil of Olay® Foaming Face Wash for over 5 years. And I will not use anything else to clean my face, however I have tried other brands but have not liked the way they leave my face feeling. I prefer a soft, clean feeling as opposed to a dry, rough feeling. I think most people feel that way. ( I have to admit though that recently I have tried a new product and I do like it, and as soon as I can find a place to write a review about it, I will do so.)

Overall I love the way my face feels. My daughters use this product as well. In fact they steel mine! So I buy theirs so they will leave mine alone. Sometimes when my son gets really dirty outside I will tell him to use the Oil of Olay® Foaming Face Wash to clean his face. My husband will use it also. It’s a family product. However, when they all start using it, it will not last up to 6 months, which is okay, Jonathon can just buy some more!

It’s a name I trust and most likely always will. So if you are looking for a facial wash consider trying this one by Oil of Olay®.
