I took the Auto today and clearly told the driver the destination. The driver at a crossing asked me, if he should take a right turn or left. I told him I am new to Pune, dont know the ways, he should take the shortest route. The driver said he needed to ask as customers complain later on.
2 min later I realized what I had done. The driver took me to a totally different route. I checked the maps and it showed that I was going away from my destination.
When I confronted the driver on the same, he got more defensive and started shouting and arguing. He defended that he asked first which road he should take.
He then had no shame and had me deboarded some where and went away. I had no money on me and it was the peak time went no other ola cab or auto was available. Somehow I requested another driver to drop me and got money from a friend to pay for the ride. Worst experience!
If you have some shame please refund my money and take action against the driver
