Ola cab is generally a good cap service. But its basic fare is too high .though ola provides too much discount but its basic fare diminishes the effect of discount. It is only suitable for long distance travel. Previously it was providing excieting offers to its customers. Reffering a friend, we earned 200 rs . But suddenly ola transformed ola cash into free rides worth rs 200.
This discouraged our interest. Its bad for a custoner to do such an act without their permission.
Now, a few days ago, I met a ola driver. He was saying that they get cash from customes which they dont require to return ola. And above that they get other incentives from the company.
In festive seasons and other occassions; they also get extra incentives.
Now the question arise.how do ola earn profit., ? Its running on loss. Do a loss making entity servive., ?
Now ola is entering into new business ventures like giving room on rent, ola share cabs, etc
The customers have a fear that will ola be able to satisfy its customers as it was satisfying before.?
Ola says that they provide pre booking fascilities. But in reality when you use the ola app and try to book a cab under pre booking fascility.; it would not work in the region of kolkata.
Option comes in a dim light background and you wont be able to select the option. This primarily decreases a customers faith. Basically its bad. Ola should say that they dont provide these kinds of services inspite of giving such fake informations. It decreases a customers satisfaction level. This even decreasing the level of goodwill of ola cabs.
Ola does the practices of price discrimination. It chardes different prices in different cities. The prices in kolkata are very high in comparison with other cities. This action dissatisfies customers. customers dont like these kinds of preferencial treatment. What makes sense in charging different prices at different cities.?
Ola charges a high surge prices. whenever we book ola; it shows 2x to 3.5x fairs. This is too high for a common people. It not serves a common man in case of emergecy. The chance of getting a ola cab at normal prices are very low. If you get it, you are lucky enough.
When we book ola. we usually see the quotation no cabs nearby . You are lucky if you get an ola cab instantly. Ola is beneficial only for drivers who drives for ola and not for its regular customers. Ola dont even provides loyalty bonus to its customers that makes a customer feel sad.
