Ola is Scamming! I took a Shared Cab for 2 seaters on Aug 5th from Vittal Mallya Road to HBR Layout. I did not pay heed to the payment option since normally even if I had a insufficient funds on their credit I would pay the difference with cash. Usually I would always have Ola Money. Now, Ola billed me Rs 223, which I paid by cash and even rated the driver well as I recall.
A few weeks later I got a call requesting me to clear the dues, I justified that I have already made a cash payment, the rep assured that I would get a call after they investigate into it. A few days later I got a call asking me to make a payment again, then again I have explained the scenario to them. The solution to it is that I will get a call. But again I just got another call asking me to make a payment.
This time I went ahead and called the customer service and spoke to a rep who told me that I am not supposed to pay the Driver since I have selected payment by Ola Money. After I have placed my points, the rep said that it will be looked upon and I got a message that the money has been credited into my account.
A few days later again I got messages that I have to clear the dues and now even an email stating that I will now have to pay Rs 283 and that my credit score will be effected if I do not.
Here are the questions I have for them now:
1.What is going on with the Company?
2.Is there any accountability at all?
3.If I am supposed to pay by Ola Money, WHY DID THE DRIVER ASK ME FOR CASH? AND EVEN TOOK IT!
3.If we do not have sufficient funds in Ola Credit, are we not supposed to be informed not to pay the difference in cash?
4.Is their app even reliable?
5.What kind of a business are they running now? Thug people?
6.What kind of a Customer Relationship are they offering? Do they even understand what it is?
7.What kind of a clarity do they deal with their customers or the Cab Drivers
8.What right do they have to pass a judgement that I have not paid the fares when I have always had a clean record and even let go of their cancellation fees since I could not be bothered to haggle over it.
9.Is Ola and the Driver operating a Fraud Business? Operating hand in hand to Scam their customers.
10.Is Ola this desperate to show their revenue?
11.Is OLA after my hard earned money? They can just ask me for donations in writing.
12.Has OLA's business model changed from Cab Services to
Ola FRAUD, Ola SCAM, Ola STEALING, Ola CHEAT, Ola HARASSMENT, Ola TORTURE, Ola Can Cause Mental agony, Ola BLACKMAIL!
13.Is this an approach to save Ola's downfall?
Ola is nothing but CHEAP FRAUD who is SCAMMING people of their money. This is only a short ride, but they also have PREMIUM, OUTSTATION, LUXURY, RENTALS and other services. They could be SCAMMING people for much more money. I wonder how much! Please be alert of how much they are capable of scamming. Do NOT book them for any of your PERSONAL or CORPORATE services if possible. You can never be too careful.
I am not surprised why so many Drivers have left the company and that people prefer other cab and rides options compared to Ola.
