Ola cab service is one of the most popular cab devices in India.i have been using its app for over 2 years now.It is a convenient option for people like me who don't have a car .But sometimes they just goof up real bad.the app sometimes acts crazy and because of this customers have to suffer.
One fine day I booked the cab using app.cab arrived I boarded the cab , but unfortunately drivers phone battery died before he could start the ride.Driver restarted the phone and started to drive.after 5 kilometers I got a message saying that my previous cab was cancelled and another cab is on the way to pick me.I was with my family and it was 1AM.Driver was also surprised with this, he dialled the customer service and talked to service executive.CSE of Ola told the driver to get us reboarded. Driver told about the situation but to no avail.ola exec. Wanted us to deboard immideatly .we had no option but to deboard as driver would not get the fare if we continued.
We got off the cab and waited for another cab on the highway with my wife and kid.after 30 minutes I got another message from ola saying that the other cab which was supposed to pick me up has moved after waiting .reality was that no cab came and we were waiting.I dialed the customer service number thinking customer was the most valued person for ola as they claim in their messages. The number I had for them was for drivers only .In fact Ola has no customer service number .The SOS link they provide will only work if you are in cab.
In a nutshell ola will not provide you any service whatsoever.you want to take the service .take else go.that is the vision of OLA cabs.it is nothing but arrogance which can work in countries like India only.They could have been sued if they would do it anywhere else.
