Hi,
I am an ISO Lead Auditor, so need to visit our clients for Auditing purposes. Normally, my Company Book car for my travel but sometimes I need to book car from my end to get it reimbursed later. It happened in Kolkata as I booked OLA Share for JeevanDeep(Maidan) to Howrah Station around 5.30. It takes alot of time for OLA App to get the booking done which these hours due to increased traffic and also I need numerous complains related to delayed app response which was never addressed.
The Cab came to pick me up 05.45 Pm with 4 other passengers travelling along with me in the cab. The Driver was well behaved and polite. But after providing the OTP, he was unable to start my trip due to a technical glitch. When I asked him, if there is any issue regarding the trip. He answered me politely the he was unable to start my trip. He also updated that he will be dropping me at my pinned location and update the trip with the IT department.
But as he called OLA Driver Support or Customer care regarding the Issue, they was forcing him to drop me out of the car and start a new trip. The Driver refused to do in the beginning, then handed the phone to me. OLA Customer Care was very rude with me regarding the booking. The person who was arguing with me regarding the booking was not fully aware with the Booking Process. There is nothing a customer can do as the booking is a Straight Through Process(STP). He repeated call the driver and asked me to drop me and start a new booking. My Co-passengers were also annoyed with OLA behavior. At last he dropped me near a taxi stand and asked me to book a taxi.
Later, when I opened my app, OLA charged 25/- for rejecting a ride after 15 mins. I called the Customer Care for refund and also complained about the rude behavior of their staff previously. Customer Care at first tried to change the topic, later they gave me a mail ID to shoot a mail with my Complains. Now, this is Condition of OLA CAB Service in a Metro City, I would leave on the viewer what will be the condition of the Riders in a Non-Metro City. They are all into making money with no interest in providing good service to the Customer and the Driver was polite and quite helpful.
Thanks'
