First of all these cabs have completely changed the way used to commute earlier but expectations exceed at the same. Technology brings convenience but meeting the customer's expectations requires a hell lot of efforts. I just want to point two of my horrible experiences, I had to go through. First, when I booked a SHARED Cab ride from Malibu Town to Huda City Centre Metro Station, Cab was already 15 minutes away and supposed to pick another co-passenger first. I waited for 10 minutes and tracked the ride, to my surprise Cab driver was moving to other side facing towards Huda City Centre. I called the Driver. he said on the way but ride shown a waiting time 20 minutes more.
It was more than 30 minutes. I called him again but he said he has already reached near to the destination without picking me up. He asked to cancel the ride and book it again. Disgusting, you made a customer wait for more than 30 mins then ask to cancel the ride. I've no problem at when Drivers asks me to cancel the pick up for whatsoever reason.
Second is about their total time is taken for a single ride. I booked a cab from Sector 62 to Noida City Center. Wait time 10 minutes, boarded the cab. Two more pickups, distance to destination 7 Km, No traffic, it took me 1 hour to complete the ride. Regret choosing shared a ride for an important meeting. I agree that the shared rides have to be shared but this model would not work. Ola needs to check and reduce the travel time.
Anyways, we have no option than to go by these cab companies.
