I booked a cab from Hoodi to Yesvantpur Railway Station at 9.15 AM to catch a train. The cab driver calls me at 8.30 am in the morning, asked my exact location and said he is almost there and asked us to come to cab.
I told my location and asked him that it is only 8.30 Am and I am getting ready and can come at least by 9 am. I also confirmed my booking time which was 9.15 am. After this, he calls again and asked me to book another cab as he won't be coming.
I was in a very bad position as I had to catch train so I called him and said I will try to come as soon as possible but he said now he has reached to JP Nagar which is 25 km far from Hoodi. So he wont be able to come back. Meanwhile I also called Olacab customer care and they apologized for this and said we will book another cab.
It was already late but still I thought to wait for some time so that another cab comes. When I tried to reach out to the another cab guys his number was saying switched off. Olacab customer care said he is in whitefiled and it is going to take time before he reaches. By this all event it was already 10.15 am and I knew it would atleast take an hour to reach station.
So I took an auto in emergency and went to station to catch train but it was too late and I missed the train which was a long distance train and it is not easy to get another ticket for that train. I took this risk first time to try Olacab and got very disappointed by the service. My feedback is it is very risky to use Olacab service.
