Ola Cabs – You just lost a customer forever

I had booked an Ola cab for 17-Jul-2015 9:30pm pick up from my house to Railway station. The Ola booking confirmation sms mentioned that I would receive the driver details 30 mins before the pickup time. When I did not get any details.

I called up Ola customer care(040-33553355) at 9:25pm, the customer care representative told me that a cab would be allocated to me now and a driver would call me in next few mins. I asked the customer care representative for what would have happened had I not made this call to check the status of my booking, he assured me that the cab would reach me in next 10-15 mins.

I got a call from the cab driver at 9:29pm only to be informed that he is too far off from my pick up place. The driver told me to cancel the booking and try again. I again called up the Customer Care and asked if I am going to get some alternate cab, the Customer care representative told me that my booking has been cancelled by the cab driver. I was shocked to realize it and understood that the driver tricked me. I was left stranded with no alternate arrangement.

I asked the Customer Care representative to help me lodge a formal complaint against such poor handling of a repeated customer like me, he gave the phone to his floor mAnasultanger Srinivas M. I had already read crappy reviews of mailing to support@olacabs.com so I asked Srinivas for the Hyderabad zonal head of Ola cabs for an escalated complaint but he very boldly told me that he is not aware of the complaint escalation chain. I was appalled to find that the floor mAnasultanger of a reputed company does not know how whom to reach in case of escalated customer complaints.

Thanks to your obnoxious treatment Ola, you just lost a customer forever. I am never going to use your services henceforth and would ensure that I circulate this message to as many people as I know so that you don’t get a chance to cheat others like you did to me.
