My first ride in OLA was when I booked a cab from my office(Subramanya Arcdae) to SBI Bank( jakkasandra signal, koramangala 3rd BLOCK). The driver came on time but what took me back was he had no idea of the pick up location nor the drop location.
Pickup location I understand that I will be able to guide, but drop location even I was not sure. I thought the driver would know, but even he was lost. Finally I got down in some other SBI bank which was 1 km ahead of the bank where I had to go. When I realized that this is the wrong bank, I took an auto and reached my destination. Aren't they suppose to have a GPS or guiding system for the drivers?
The next time, I booked a cab from my home to office. The driver kept on calling me for 30 mins and finally 15 mins post the booking time I had to cancel my booking because he could never find my house. I had to literally run to the Gottigere Main Road to get an auto. You post ads everywhere that we can get instant Taxi's anytime when the fact is you are not adequately equipped to provide for pre booked rides itself. Very unhappy.A sorry really wont do!
My 3rd exp with OLA - Again Disappointing service of OLA! Today morning I booked an OLA Auto from my home at 9th Cross, South Avenue, Gottigere to my office at Jalbhavan, Bannerghatta Road. The distance is hardly 9 kms( I know since I regularly take autos) but the meter came of 13.1 kms. I paid the drive 180 rupees which is 50 ruppees more than my expected fare. I told the driver that the distance is 4 kms extra to whic hhe replied he is checking but I did not see him checking anything. Since I was getting late I left and decided to write to u. The auto details are KA02AD5659. Booking number KRN1119289 and the name of the driver is Shivukumar.
