Turning out to be slightly better than day one, Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s OK Jaanu has by far managed to collect a total of Rs 8.98 crore in 2 days. Yes, trade analyst and famous movie critic Taran Adarsh just tweeted the second day box office report of OK Jaanu stating, “Ok Jaanu Fri 4.08 cr, Sat 4.90 cr. Total: ₹ 8.98 cr. India biz.” Now although these box office figures aren’t that great to be proud of but considering the film is finally seeing an upward growth definitely brings a positive sign.
In fact, one cannot forget OK Jaanu is trying to make decent numbers at the box office despite Deepika Padukone’s Hollywood debut xXx: Return Of Xander Cage getting a massive release in India yesterday. I mean, even the trade experts had already predicted xXx is going to be a major threat for OK Jaanu given that it’s Deepika’s first Hollywood film. While we believe that’s exactly why Shraddha and Aditya’s film is struggling to get the cash registers jingling at the box office. It’s left to see how does OK Jaanu pass the Sunday test at the box office. Will today prove beneficial? Will OK Jaanu at least manage to cross Rs 10-Rs 12 crore in its opening weekend
