I don't know how the book became a "National Bestseller". Anyone could say that Mandar has attempted to copy Chetan Bhagat's style of writing. However, the story is so horrible that even a first timer could write better than this. There are grammatical mistakes, and the story has absolutely no flow.
Characterization is also very poor. The author is himself not clear about the story and the characters. The characters are kind of strange, and it is difficult to find any sort of connection of those characters to reality. With every new chapter, the characters in the book transform into totally new people and the story also goes into a new dimension. The book is not funny by any means, as claimed by the author in the beginning and in the synopsis of the book.
The publishing company seems to be a new one with no experience in printing and they are literally begging the readers to write a book so that they can publish it. I certainly wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.
