I purchased a bed rail 2 months ago from ofororange.com website. It was meant to be used with our king size cot (for my 12 month old son to co sleep with me).
Upon delivery I saw the product guide was useless and setup was difficult. The bed rail steel was also rusted because of I never could install the product properly.
I immediately called up customer service. The manager replied that I will have to send the product back to them (bearing my own shipping cost). I tried explaining to them that I have a baby at home and cannot carry this monster piece to a courier. Instead when they send a new piece they can take this as return.
But they denied. This was because they have already bore the shipping cost once for delivering the product to me from their warehouse (I mean who cares!). So they cannot do it again. Hence even if they refund as a means of points to be used in their website again it would be only after deducting this cost. I decided I shall as well live with this useless piece of crap instead of dragging myself to a nearby courier and wasting time for a thousand bucks.
I think the company ought to live in 14th century to have such a bad return policy. I don't think they are fit enough to survive in this competitive online world.
