I visited this fine dine lounge - as they say it, on a Saturday thinking that we'll have to wait. But thankfully there was no queue and we got the seats immediately. Maybe because we reached early (8 PM) or because it was raining.
I was pretty impressed with the menu card. As soon as you see it, you know that this restaurant is different. The menu card has continental, thai, chinese and indian sections (according to my memory). We wanted to try as much variety as we can so ordered different items.. My soup was Burnt Garlic and Mushroom soup. It was awesome!! Definitely try this one. But then there were 2 tiny ants in my soup so I had to somehow stop myself from eating it :( We bought this to the managers notice and he replaced the soup. Also tried the Tom Kha soup which was okay. I guess the prawn soups were good as my friends told (Im a veggie).
For starters, we ordered Garlic Mushrooms, Kurkuri mutter ki Goli and Brushetta.
The continental starters are really good! The indians ones are no different than the other restaurants. Did not try the thai ones..
For main course we ordered Burmese Curry with Noodles. It is pricey (Rs. 240/-), but yeah it was heavenly!! It came with 9 accompaniments which when mixed with the noodles and curry taste awesome.. Also had some caramalized veggies with rice. This one was okay.
Did not get a chance to try the lasagne as I was full by this time.
For dessert I had tiramisu (pricey again - Rs. 130/-) but it was good.
Overall it was a nice experience but yeah it was a dent in the wallet :(
