Oblivion starts with a Prologue which describes the basic story of what happened since 2017 when the Scavengers Destroyed the moon and although humans won the battle they lost for what they stood for'Earth'. The World is in ruins and there on top of it literally are our two Protagonists living up there for the clean up job.
You realize at the outset that the movie is filled with mystery and that there is something amiss. The director takes you on a Journey with this setting and you are ready to go with him and there he throws in twists after twists and that really tires you to the extent that you just want an extra Interval to take that.
The Effects are top notch and the visually very beautiful but then how will you sustain the tiresome nature of the film is my only Concern. Watch it once because you don't want to miss a film which could have been great.
