It was our bad luck that we decided to go to Oberoi Mall , Goregaon East , Mumbai to have a quick party on a week day.
It was the first week of August (7th or 8th ). We ordered some lebanese food, some chinese and some dosa. I guess all the food was stale because we got terrible food poisoning .
My 5 yr old son had to be admitted to the hospital for 2 days because of vomitting diarohea and stomach pain and me and my brother were extremely ill with similar symptoms . So eating 500 bucks of food made us spend 15000 bucks for hospitalistaion and medical charges .Our family doctor told us that many people had fallen ill after eating in the same food court .
We did not lodge any complaint with the consumer court or with the mall management but I think I should write on this public platform to make other people and the owners of the Oberoi Mall aware of the mental , physical and financial anguish we had to go through because of negligence and poor housekeeping on their part.
And please just in case ... Owners of Oberoi Mall .. I am not doing this for publicity or money . I do not want the whole world poking into my life and you giving me a few thousand bucks as compensation.
