I didnt think that one day, I will be drafting a review thanking everyone in the journey of my son Eshan.
My son was a late learner as he started speaking and walking a little later than others his age. Earlier he was going to a school where he was not cared for well and was showing no signs of development. So on the recommendation of my friend, I moved him to Oakridge International school in 2015 in PP2. Initially, he took a while to adjust in the new place and surroundings and did not show a lot of improvement and we thought we may have to repeat a year for him and that disappointed me.
I brought this to the notice of the headmistress Ms.Lydia and after repeated interactions with her, we worked out a plan to improve Eshan's performance. She started interacting more with him and building up his confidence. Miss Ulka and Miss Joan who took Eshan under their wings and taught him beyond text books, gave him time and attention, made him confident, a better speaker, and most importantly gave him the confidence in himself as a child and simplified the process of learning. With Eshan's promise to me to try his best to improve, today he has shown tremendous growth and did not have to repeat the same class. He is better in academics and his overall confidence and personality is at par with any other child his age. I highly recommend this school to everyone who want to bring out the best in their child.
