Days are getting hotter and hotter, and at a point I feel that we would even hesitate to step out of our house. It's really getting hotter and unbearable these days and the entire month of may is still to pass by.
It's really going to be one heck of a time spending this month. Usually when I go out my house I feel very much hesitated as to whether I should step out or no. The good thing is that I work from 10am to 7pm, so I leave my home by 8 in the morning and it's not that hot neither the sun beats down and tans one's skin so its tolerable, but during break time which is around 2 I prefer staying in my cabin itself rather than going out.
I prefer being in the house all the time because recently we have installed a AC in my room, it has almost been 9 months since we have installed this AC.
Past few months we haven't relied much on the AC but from past few months we have heavily relied on it.
Things I got when the AC was installed:
Unit, User Manual, Warranty Card and Remote Control
Please check for this when you get your AC shipped. All the documents are equally important and a must and demanded if one does not get it on delivery.
I prefer split over window ac, reason is that the window ac used to get jammed up and daily cleaning was needed at times. And I personally like split as it looks stylish over the conventional windows.
There isn't any specific reason behind choosing a 1 ton ac.
Now I come to the pros and cons:
Cons:
The cost is a bit high, and the brand isn't well known. We got it installed totally for 33990 (33490+500). Shipping charges was 500 bucks.
The brand isn't well known, and I haven't heard of this brand ever, but my dad from somewhere got a hold of this and insisted that we should buy ac of this brand.
Well I would now say, it was a good decision and we all are happy.
This ac comes for 1 Year Manufacturer Warranty, and this is where I feel the company isn't doing good. Good branded companies gives 1 Year Manufacturer Warranty and 5 years warranty on compressor. This is the place where this brand fails I feel.
The customer service is not that good and up to the mark, as I had an issue but they took a long time to solve it and it took me regular follow ups with them. My dad had handed me this responsibility of keeping follow ups with the customer service people and as I work day in day out, it really took me real efforts. But at the end the problem was resolved :-)
Now I come to the pros:
There are many many pros I would like to mention, but due to limit of 7500 characters I have to keep it short and crisp.
It's been the 9th month, and till now we haven't faced any problem regarding the ac. The cooling has been very uniform and till now no sound comes from the ac.
Many ac users have told me that their ac produces strange noises but thankfully our ac does not create sounds. The cooling is pretty uniform and good.
The remote is pretty descent to operate and the manual also explains a demo.
The compressor type is rotary and it really helps in the performance of the ac. Rotary compressor is better than the conventional.
The quality is good and very durable and reliable, and can be trusted. I would say that don't worry about the brand appeal, just go for it.
Finally I would say this product is VFM and even after paying 34k I would say this is worth.
Final verdict : GO FOR IT BLINDLY
The brand is not among the high appealing brands but certainly not down under. It's sleek and stylish design makes it even more better and fun. Wish I could live my entire life in my room :-)
