Norton Antivirus, is uncomparable in the breeds of antivirus solutions.Now it detects and quarantines Spyware,adware,diallers automatically during the scans.Also, when the utility receives new malware definitions, it runs a background quick scan. The product's Bloodhound heuristic protection, configurable at three levels, attempts to block threats that don't yet have definitions, and Auto-Protect, enabled by default, scans all files on access, watching for activity that suggests the presence of malware.You can schedule a full, quick, or custom scan to run daily, weekly, monthly, at startup, or any time the system is idle. The antivirus scans incoming and outgoing e-mail as well as files received through AOL, MSN, or Yahoo! instant-messaging services.

To improve accuracy, a Bayesian filter improves analyzes your outgoing e-mails and any messages whose categorization you correct by clicking the This is spam and This is not spam buttons.At your choice, you can block mail in any of about 150 languages, from Abkhazian to Zulu. Mail from senders on your Allowed list always gets through; mail from senders on your Blocked list never does. The product can populate the Allowed list from your address book and outgoing mail automatically, and can add senders of messages you flag as spam or not spam to the appropriate list.An option lets you block all e-mail from unknown senders, but as NIS doesn't include a challenge-response method to allow desirable new contacts, this isn't useful for most people. NAS will automatically block messages containing suspicious elements such as invisible text, HTML forms, and phishing-style obscured URLs. A complete e mail security for naive users.
