I bought the N95-8GB(or N95-2) for INR 29K. I have used it for about 4 days now. My observations:

1) Battery lasts me for little over 2 days with phone use, SMS, USB Transfers and photo/video usage

2) Camera is fast. Takes approximately 3.5~ 4 seconds to save an image completely. But, after an image is clicked, there appears at the top right corner of the display a "Back" message. That means you can click another snap without even waiting for the current one to finish saving. Awesome.

3) There are 2 speakers on either side of the phone, so its very very loud. I almost got startled the first time the phone rang!

4) Music capability is quite nice for my needs. I listen to the radio and have some MP3s as well. Quality of sound is nice even from speaker. Not as loud as a walkman, but loud enough.

5) Camera doesn't have a lens cover. So I have a leather pouch that I have on my waist. Protects the phone from scratches, etc.

6) The phone being shiny and black attracts fingerprints easily. Though, its just as easy to get rid of them.

7) The phone has a built-in accelerometer. But some additional(but free) software is required to be installed to use this feature. Once installed, we can switch between landscape and portrait modes just by rotating the phone in our hands!

8) USB transfers work quite well. No problems here.

9) I was able to transfer stuff between my sony ericsson phone and this nokia phone using Bluetooth. So no problems with Bluetooth either.

10) I have set the network mode to "GSM Only". This is said to save battery life since it doesn't keep searching for UMTS networks.

All said and done, this is a great phone and I have chosen it over the K850i due to the presence of 3.5mm jack, VGA video at 30fps and the USB port.

If I've missed anything, please ask in your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can.
