I bought this Phone just a week back.
Nokia N91, A 4GB Phone, With Nokia HeadSet.
I Use Sony Ericcson W700i till last week. I decided to buy a new one with a bigger screen and which has compatibility for many applications.
Let me tell my reviewes on various aspect of the phone.
Looks:-
No doubt N91 is a very good looking phone. Slider with music buttons on it. Looks pretty good
*Ease of Use:-
* N91 uses Symbian 60 Series OS.
Ease of use in terms of phones interface and physical use.
In terms of interface, Browsing thru phone is bit slow, we have to wait for next screen to be displayed. Some time screen goes blank, just for 4 or 5 seconds, but its quite frustrating at that time, Cos my old phone W700i interaface is very good. Its very fast
In terms of physical use, Music button are well placed, on the slider, but the numeric buttons are too closed to each other when we type any message. The menu button is placed on side of the phone.
Which will take few days to get used.
*Features:-
Operating System: Symbian OS 60 Series. Good one but dont know when it get hangs. Since its 4Gb Phone, that may be the reason.
Camera: Comes with 2MP camera. Takes reasonable pictures, But no Flash and autofocus, where , many phone come with flash now a days.
Sound: Very good sound when we here music with its bundled Headset( Bose Headset). But when we hear music with external speaker, you can feel light vibrations on the phone.
On call, Voice quality is very good.
*Memory:-
*Memory with N91 is 4Gb, there is other version with 8Gb, but heard that is hangs very much.
4Gb is more than enough, I have never used more than 1Gb on this phone till now. well that depends on how a person uses it.
*Bundled Software:-
*Software is good. But nothing much to tell about.
Comes with a CD, Ear Phones, Data Cable.
Comes also with a Remote, which is connected with a cable into a 3.5mm Jack on the phone.
*Security:-
* Comes with a external keypad lock button, and also the remote has a lock facility in it.
Weight:-
I think this is the heavied phone is Nokia N Series. Quite a bulky one to keep in pockets.
*Application:-
*Comes with few applications, Like Life blog which I havent understands till now what it does.
We can install application like MS-Office, Acrobat Reader, Mail Servers and many other games available.
*Battery:-
*Its a 4Gb Phone and that to its a hard drive, So battery is used very much, if you use music player or view videos, loose more power.
But its manageble.
Well, On Whole.
Some may like it some may not. Looks wise, Nokia and its N-Series which will make people to buy this.
But if you want a light weighted, quite interface phone go for Sony Ericcson Phones.
