Let me remind that back then the price was Rs. 17000. I enjoyed using this phone very much, during the first 7-8 months i.e. from July 2007 till around March 08. It was fast, camera was awesome etc.
But after June 08, the phone started getting slower and slower. I cleared up the phone memory twice, removed memory card for a few months; still the phone had slowed to a crawl. Not to mention, the quality of its hardware is pathetic.
I lost my joystick, and zoom-in/out buttons broke. The keypad-mapping also became faulty. I became very exasperated with the annoyingly slow functioning of the phone, and the fragility of the hardware. I had to spend around Rs. 1400 to get a new keypad because the company doesn't give any warranties for physical damage.
Let me also specify that I regularly kept my phone firmware up-to-date. Even the guy at the Nokia care office was baffled that my phone was so slow despite the regular updates and formatting the memory so many times.I've decided now to buy my next phone strictly under Rs 13k.Rs 17000 was a big deal for me and I would only recommend this phone to you if you're one of those people who have the kinda moolah to change phones every 7-8 months.
