The battery life of this phone isterrible. I would not recommend anyone as this is an expensive phone, and the battery life is really NOT WORTH it. The phone is just about 4 to 5 months old (I bought it in August-06), and the talktime is just30 mins... i.e. on a single charge I can make only 30 mins of calls. Ineed to recharge the battery EVERY DAY, and that's not all... the recharge takes uptoto 3 hours!!! How the hel am I supposed to use this bldy phone???!

Now for the service... I have made approx 4 trips to their Nokia care centers + the dealers (Wireless Comm. Calcutta). Each time they wanted to keep the phone with them for sometime. At one time, they said 1 or 2 weeks!!! And I was expecting that they would agree that there was a problem with the phone and replace it!! When I asked them why they cannot replace it, when there is clearly a problem, they just shrugged and said that all electronic products have no gaurantee.

Finally, after many trips, I was told that the problem iswith the MMC card, and if the MMC card is removed, then the phonetalktime would improve. This I found to be correct... the phone didwork well and talktime improved without the MMC card, but then now Icannot shoot photos or store MP3's. I might as well have gone for alow-end phone without a camera!! I tried website complaints also, but Nokia customer care does not believethat the problem is with the phone, and keeps blaming everything fromthe SIM card, the charger, to the FM radio and handsfree kit (these 2,I've never used so far). I'm quite sick of them. Here is a sample of their reply...
